Maryland man collects second big lottery prize in two years
A Maryland Lottery participant adopted up a big win two years in the past with a $50,000 jackpot from a scratch-off price ticket.
The 52-year-old Glen Burnie man instructed Maryland Lottery officers he used to be on the Wawa comfort retailer in Glen Burnie on Saturday when he determined to shop for some $500,000 Crossword scratch-off tickets.
The man stated his first two tickets have been losers, so when he were given to the 3rd price ticket he determined to only scratch off the prize test house and scan it along with his telephone.
The price ticket used to be a $50,000 winner.
“I looked at it for several minutes,” the winner recalled.
He stated he knew his spouse would by no means imagine him if he referred to as her, so he drove house to turn her the price ticket in individual.
“I couldn’t believe it,” the man’s spouse stated.
The man prior to now accrued a $10,000 prize from a special scratch-off price ticket in 2017.
“We’ll be back in two years,” the man’s spouse stated, “if not sooner.”
The winner and his spouse remained nameless, and concealed at the back of their ceremonial test in the lottery’s photograph to keep away from appearing their faces.
